Jiangxi announces three rare earth oxide capacity replacement plans

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province has released for public comment the capacity replacement plans of three local rare earth companies.
Ganzhou Rare Earth Longnan Smelting Separation Co., Ltd. plans to build 5,500tpa (in REO) rare earth ore smelting and separation capacity, replacing its existing 3,000tpa capacity and 2,500tpa from Zhongse Nanfang Rare Earth (Xinfeng) Co., Ltd.
Longnan Baogang Xinli Renewable Resources Development Co., Ltd. plans to build 3,100tpa (in REO) rare earth waste utilization capacity, replacing 2,300tpa of its current capacity and 800tpa from Jiangxi Huake Rare Earth New Materials Co., Ltd.
Xinfeng Baogang Xinli Rare Earth Co., Ltd. plans to build 5,572tpa (in REO) rare earth resource utilization capacity, replacing 2,372.13tpa of its current capacity (based on an existing 8,000tpa waste processing line) and 3,200tpa from Ganzhou Dexin High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd.
