Wanda Aluminum launches high-alloy flat ingot expansion project

On December 5, Henan Wanda Aluminum Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its 200,000tpa high-alloy flat ingot expansion project. With a total investment of RMB200 million (USD28.29 million), the project features advanced combustion and temperature-control technologies, significantly reducing natural gas usage and shifting production toward a low-energy, high-efficiency model. The project is scheduled for completion in five months, with production set to begin in May 2026.
