Tibet Shannan becomes largest shareholder of Weiling New Energy

On November 28, Tibet Shannan Antimony & Gold Resources Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xingye Silver & Tin, acquired a 7.76% stake in Willing New Energy Co., Ltd. for RMB308 million (USD43.54 million), making it the company's largest shareholder.
Weiling New Energy is mainly engaged in the mining of tungsten, tin, lead, and zinc, as well as the processing of lithium ore and the production and refining of basic lithium battery raw materials. The company's key products include scheelite, tin concentrate, lepidolite, and lithium carbonate.
The company's subsidiary Hunan Linwu Jiayu Mining Co., Ltd. holds a mining license with an annual extraction capacity of up to 300,000 tonnes. Verified reserves in the Linwu Tieshaping mining area include 2.9 million tonnes of tin ore, 1.4 million tonnes of lead ore, 374,000 tonnes of zinc ore, and 340,000 tonnes of tungsten ore.
