Anhui Ruitai Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. plans to build an 80ktpa lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy auto parts and high-end fasteners project in the Qingyang Economic Development Zone, according to an environmental impact assessment (EIA) recently released for public disclosure by the local authorities.
The project will occupy 100Mu (6.67 hectares) of industrial land. In Phase I, the company will construct new production workshops, relocate equipment from its existing plant, and add two surface-treatment lines along with high-speed, high-precision cold-heading machines. Phase II will include additional workshops and office buildings, as well as new annealing, heat-treatment, oil-coating, and aluminum-zinc coating lines.
Once fully operational, the project will have an annual production capacity of 80,000 tonnes of lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy components and high-end fasteners for new energy vehicles.
