Yunnan Aluminium Co., Ltd. plans to acquire minority stakes in three of its subsidiaries from Yunnan Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd., including 28.74% of Yunnan Yunlv Yongxin Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., 27.31% of Yunnan Yunlv Runxin Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., and 30% of Yunnan Yunlv Hongxin Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., for a total of RMB2.27 billion (USD320 million). Following the transaction, Yunnan Aluminium's ownership in the three companies will increase to 96.08%, 97.46%, and 100%, respectively.
The move will optimize the company's equity structure, boost its attributable primary aluminium capacity, and strengthen its core business. Yunnan Aluminium also plans to use Yunlv Hongxin as a platform to expand into bauxite mining, advancing its "alloy business + bauxite mining" growth strategy for sustainable growth.
