On November 6, Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. completed hot commissioning of its upgraded Tongbu Wharf, with all systems performing as expected. This marks full integration of the company's dolomite ore supply chain from mining site to transport corridor, logistics park, and port loading.
The project is a key part of Anhui Baomei's "corridor + port" green logistics network, capable of transporting 20 million tonnes of ore per year, reducing road transport pressure, and supporting a low-carbon transition.
Once fully operational, Qingyang Port's annual throughput is expected to rise from 7 million tonnes to 18 million tonnes, making it one of China's few inland ports with a ten-million-tonne capacity and a vital regional logistics hub.
