The domestic flat steel market performance failed to improve during the month, and prices went through the down-up trend, but general prices were lower than late September. The demand from downstream industries shrank from the middle of October, and end users kept inactive in purchasing seeing insufficient orders for final products. The market was full of bearish atmosphere. The production activities of steel mills weakened restricted by the thin profits and the heavy sales pressures.
