Tongling Nonferrous wins exploration rights for Cu-Au-Mo deposit

On November 4, Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. secured the exploration rights for the Jiguanshan-Hucun copper-gold-molybdenum deposit in Tongling, Anhui, for around RMB3.2 billion (USD450 million). The acquisition further strengthens the company's resource reserves and aligns with its strategy of focusing on the core copper industry.
The Jiguanshan-Hucun deposit has total inferred resources of 30.95 million tonnes of copper ore containing 328,800 tonnes of copper with an average grade of 1.06%, 1.48 million tonnes of gold ore containing 8,640 kilograms of gold with an average grade of 5.84 g/t, and 15.94 million tonnes of molybdenum ore containing 15,000 tonnes of molybdenum with an average grade of 0.094%.
