China sets 2026-2027 export criteria for tungsten, antimony, and silver

China's Ministry of Commerce has released new application requirements and procedures for state trading enterprises exporting tungsten, antimony, and silver for 2026-2027, aiming to strengthen rare metal export management and protect resources and environment.
According to new rules, existing qualified stated-owned exporters must have recorded exports each year from 2022 to 2024. For few applicants, tungsten enterprises must have an average annual export supply of at least 2,000 tonnes (APT equivalent) over the past three years; antimony enterprises must average at least 7,000 tonnes of refined antimony or 5,000 tonnes of antimony trioxide annually over the past three years; and silver enterprises must have an annual output of at least 80 tonnes in 2024, or 40 tonnes for companies located in western regions.
