Dongsheng Mining resumes construction on Bayan Uul silver-polymetallic mine

On October 20, Dongsheng Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shengda Resources, received approval from the Emergency Management Bureau of Hexigten Banner to resume construction on its 250,000-tonne-per-annum Bayan Uul silver-polymetallic mining project, which was suspended in September following a roof collapse incident.
Dongsheng Mining holds mining rights for silver, lead, zinc, gold, gallium, arsenic, and pyrite, with a designed annual production capacity of 250,000 tonnes. The mine is still under construction and has yet to begin production.
