On October 18, Chaohu Yunhai Magnesium Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Baowu Magnesium, completed the hot-commissioning of a 110-diameter large reduction tank, marking a major breakthrough in large-scale reduction tank manufacturing and laying the groundwork for upgrading magnesium smelting equipment.
Reduction tanks are key components in the Pidgeon process, directly impacting production efficiency and costs. With the rollout of its self-produced large reduction tanks, Yunhai Magnesium is expected to lower primary magnesium production costs and further strengthen its market competitiveness.
