Prices of wire rod and rebar in major regions of China saw a downward trend during the month on soft demand and the price decrease in futures market. Besides, Chinese export prices of wire rod and rebar went down during the month due to the soft demand from overseas customers and the price decrease in domestic market.
In the international market, prices of wire rod and rebar in Malaysia, India and Thailand dropped during the month on low demand, while those in Vietnam moved up mainly supported by high prices of steel mills.
