1. Market Highlights
In September, prices for Chinese HC ferrochrome, LC ferrochrome and silicon chromium went up under the shortage of inventories. Import prices for HC ferrochrome also went up.
In September, the in-port prices and import prices for chrome ore from South African went up, while the in-port prices and import prices for chrome ore from Turkey remained stable under limited transactions. The in-port prices of Zimbabwean chrome concentrate went down slightly, while the import prices went up.
Prices for Chinese chrome metal and chromium oxide green went down in September discouraged by inactive market, while prices for chromic anhydride remained stable.
