Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output declines in early Sep

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.56 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of September, with the daily average output at around 1,956,000 tonnes, down by 8.5% from late August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of approximately 15.82 million tonnes, an increase of 840,000 tonnes or 5.6% compared with late August.
