1. Market Highlights
In August, prices for Chinese HC ferrochrome, LC ferrochrome and silicon chromium went up under regular purchasing activities. Import prices for HC ferrochrome also went up.
In August, the in port prices and import prices for chrome ore from South African, Zimbabwe and Turkey increased because of active inquiries.
Prices for Chinese chrome metal and chromium oxide green went down in August discouraged by inactive market, while prices for chromic anhydride remained stable.
