Sinomine reports strong light metals performance in H1

Sinomine Resource Group achieved an operating revenue of RMB3.27 billion (USD456 million) in the first half of 2025, up by 34.89% year-on-year, according to the company's semi-annual report.
During the first half, lithium salt sales from self-supplied feedstock reached 17,900 tonnes, an increase of about 6.37% YoY, while the company also sold 34,800 tonnes of self-produced spodumene concentrate directly to external customers.
Revenue from the company's rare light metals (cesium and rubidium salts) segment rose 50.43% YoY to RMB708 million (USD98.8 million). The company is a leading global producer and supplier of cesium formate, with a dominant market share. As of mid-year, it held global reserves of 17,320.45 bbl of cesium formate solution (density equivalent 2.3 t/m3), representing 3,931.88 tonnes of cesium metal equivalent.
