China's copper cathode output rises 14% YoY in Jul

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production recorded around 1.27 million tonnes in July 2025, up by 14% YoY, and that of copper products increased by 8.3% YoY to 2.17 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to July, China produced approximately 8.62 million tonnes of copper cathode, up by 9.9% over the prior year period, and 14.24 million tonnes of copper products, up by 9.4% versus a year ago.
