1. Market Highlights
The Chinese tungsten market experienced tight raw material supplies in July. Tungsten prices rose overall, although downstream buyers were unwilling to accept higher prices, which slowed down purchases. Some factories suspended production due to price pressures.
For exports, supported by rising raw material prices, the prices of APT, tungsten oxide, and tungsten carbide powder moved up in July.
As a result of China's export restriction policy, and raw material supply shortages in the international market, prices for tungsten products showed an upward trend in July.
