Baiyin Nonferrous Copper begins upgrade of concentrate storage facilities

The Copper Industry Company of Baiyin Nonferrous Copper Group Co., Ltd. has begun upgrading its #19 concentrate storage, increasing capacity from 30,000 tonnes to 47,000 tonnes. The upgrade will add 8 train and 6 truck unloading bays, boosting unloading efficiency by 40%. This upgrade supports the company's 400,000tpa copper smelting capacity and promotes smarter, greener storage and transportation. The project is expected to be completed by June 2026.
In addition, the company's #20 storage will be converted into a truck ore inspection area with automated sampling, and the #21 outdoor stockyard will be upgraded into an efficient frozen ore crushing zone to solve winter production issues.
