Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output rises in mid-Jul

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.80 million tonnes of finished steel products during the second ten-day period of July 2025, with the daily average output at around 2,080,000 tonnes, up by 4.6% from early this month, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of approximately 15.66 million tonnes, an increase of 580,000 tonnes or 3.9% compared with ten days ago.
