Due to a decrease in tantalum concentrate, Chinese tantalum oxide and tantalum metal market prices decreased this month. Due to stable consumption from downstream clients, Chinese imported niobium concentrate market prices kept flat this month. Due to higher prices of raw materials, Chinese ferroniobium market prices increased this month. The prices of niobium oxide edged down during the past month discouraged by weak demand.
European tantalite and American tantalum metal market prices increased this month as the market saw tight supply. European ferroniobium market prices increased this month due to shortage of raw materials from Brazil.
