Huawei Copper expects EIA approval for expansion project

Nantong City recently announced the proposed environmental impact assessment (EIA) approval for an expansion project developed by Jiangsu Huawei Copper Industry Co., Ltd.
Located in Hai'an High-tech Zone, the project will build new factory buildings and add equipment including eight enameled wire machines, four rolling mills, four extrusion machines, and two wire transposition machines.
Once completed, the project will be able to produce 10,000 tonnes of copper strips, 6,000 tonnes of copper tubes, and 12,000 tonnes of electromagnetic wire annually.
