Hefa Rare Earth completes phase one separation workshop upgrade

Inner Mongolia Baogang Hefa Rare Earth Co., Ltd. has finished the first phase upgrade of its separation workshop's extraction section. The production line is running smoothly and has produced its first batch of qualified products.
Guided by China Rare Earth (Beijing) Research Institute, the company upgraded its traditional extraction process to an advanced linked extraction method. Adjustments to extraction tanks and material flow now allow the company to meet diverse rare earth product demands.
This upgrade enables further separation of oversupplied lanthanum-cerium chloride into high-purity lanthanum and cerium chlorides, improving purification and boosting company revenue.
The second phase upgrade is underway and expected to take about 60 days. After completion, the workshop can switch flexibly between different separation lines, cutting operating costs significantly.
