Weko New Materials' high-end aluminum project fully operational

Weko (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has achieved full production at its advanced aluminum materials project in Baotou, with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes of green, lightweight, high-end aluminum products.
Backed by a 1.5 billion yuan (208 million US dollars) investment from Weko, the project took just over two years to complete. Phase I construction and equipment commissioning are now finished, and the production line is fully operational.
The project offers one-stop deep processing from molten aluminum to finished products. Operating at full capacity, it will produce 100,000 tonnes of rare earth aluminum solar panel frames, 30,000 tonnes of battery trays for new energy and energy storage systems, and 20,000 tonnes of lightweight aluminum profiles for the automotive industry annually.
