Fozichong Mine sees major growth in lead-zinc reserves

Guangxi Fozi Mining Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Huaxi Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., has seen a significant increase in its lead-zinc ore reserves at the Fozichong Mine, with the total ore reserves reaching10.93 million tonnes, a 93.59% increase from 2024. This includes 8.8 million tonnes within the licensed mining area and 2.13 million tonnes outside, according to the latest resource verification report reviewed and filed by the Department of Natural Resources of Guangxi.
Key metal reserves have also surged, with zinc up by 77.8% to 366,295 tonnes, lead up by 58.45% to 256,975 tonnes, copper up by 27.69% to 15,246 tonnes, silver up by 147.2% to 343 tonnes, and gallium added by 175 tonnes, compared with 2024.
