    Xintaiyuan to upgrade HC ferrochrome project via capacity swap

    Inner Mongolia Xintaiyuan New Materials Co.Asian Metal CopyrightInner Mongolia Xintaiyuan New Materials Co.Asian Metal Copyright, Ltd.Asian Metal Copyright Construction is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025, with production expected to commence on November 1, 2025.Asian Metal Copyright plans to build a 245,000tpa HC ferrochrome furnace upgrade project under a capacity replacement scheme, according to Ulanqab Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.

    As part of the capacity swap, the company will build two 60,000KVA submerged arc furnaces, for a total production capacity of 245,000 tonnes per annum. Construction is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025, with production expected to commence on November 1, 2025.
