JDC Moly sets new production record for molybdenum products

In 2024, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (JDC Moly) achieved record-high production of its core molybdenum products, according to its annual report.
Ferromolybdenum output reached 22,847 tonnes of molybdenum, up by 46.8% YoY, with sales hitting 21,748 tonnes of molybdenum, an increase of 35.48% YoY. Ammonium molybdate production totaled 7,238 tonnes of molybdenum, up by 11.37% YoY, with sales of 1,500 tonnes of molybdenum, up by 44.93% YoY. Molybdenum powder output totaled 5,856 tonnes of molybdenum, up by 12.03% YoY, with sales reaching 2,270 tonnes of molybdenum, up by 3.32% YoY.
Additionally, the company's Mining and Metallurgical Branch and JDC Ruyang reported year-on-year increases in molybdenum concentrate (45% grade) output of 3.2% and 2.6% respectively. Its Chemistry Branch recorded a 12.6% increase in high-purity molybdenum trioxide production, and the Metal Branch saw a 44% increase in molybdenum sheet output. JDC Guangming boosted molybdenum wire production by 29% YoY.
JDC Moly has now established a fully integrated industrial chain covering molybdenum mining, beneficiation, smelting, chemical processing, metalworking, R&D, and trading. With an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, the company produces over 30 high-quality molybdenum products across three major categories: metallurgical materials, chemical compounds, and metal processing products, enabling large-scale supply and full-service capabilities.
