Leshan Yurun launches waste rare earth magnet recycling project

On February 26, Leshan Yurun Renewable Resources Utilization Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for a waste rare earth materials recycling project in Wutongqiao District Economic Development Zone, Sichuan.
With a total investment of RMB569 million (USD78.08 million), the project would cover a land of more than 100,000 square meters and recycle waste rare earth magnet to produce 6,000tonne of rare earth oxide annually using a total solution method. When fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of RMB4.8 billion (USD659 million), along with tax contribution of RMB800 million (USD110 million), and help create more than 200 jobs.
