Huafon Aluminium to add funding for aluminum sheet, strip and foil project

Shanghai Huafon Aluminium Corporation announced that it plans to increase investment in its initial 150,000tpa high-end NEV aluminum sheet, strip and foil project to approximately 2.62 billion yuan (362 million US dollars).
The investment will be mainly used to upgrade and procure new equipment and facilities and acquire additional land of around 500Mu (33.33 hectares) for new plants, warehouses and production lines to be built in Fuling, Chongqing by Huafon Aluminium's local subsidiary.
When completed, the new project will have an annual production capacity of 150,000 tonnes of high-end NEV aluminum sheet, strip and foil and 300,000 tonnes of hot-rolled blanks for aluminum sheet, strip and foil. The company expects to finish construction of the project within two years after obtaining land usage right.
