Xiaogan Longzhou breaks ground on 100ktpa recycled aluminum project

On January 15, Xiaogan Longzhou New Material Co., Ltd. kicked off construction for a 100,000tpa secondary aluminum project at Xiaonan District, Hubei.
The company signed an agreement to build the project at Xiaonan Dongshantou Industrial Park in April 2024. With a total investment of RMB500 million (USD68.21 million), the project has a planned land area of 30Mu (2 hectares) and will mainly produce NEV battery tray, recycled aluminum rod and aluminum alloy ingot. When fully operational, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than RMB1 billion (USD136 million) along with tax revenue of over RMB30 million (USD4.1 million).
