1. Market Highlights
Prices of antimony products declined slowly in the Chinese market in December, when deals were limited in the market as buyers were not confident enough towards the market outlook with strong wait-and-see sentiments considering the export restriction policy implemented in China. Some suppliers had intention to cut stocks in order to recoup funds at the year-end, leading to the decline of prices for most deals. The domestic antimony products market saw soft demand during December as downstream customers just waited on the sidelines and were inactive in refilling stocks with a bearish attitude towards the future market. As for the international market, prices for antimony products remained firm during December as the export restriction policy was carried out in China; however, overseas customers didn't make purchases actively dragged by the Christmas Day holiday.
