OKE begins trial production at photovoltaic tungsten wire project

OKE New Energy products development and production project located at Yanling High-Tech Zone has started trial production. The first phase of the project will process tungsten billet into Φ31μm tungsten wire, with a production capacity of 10 billion meters per annum.
OKE New Energy products development and production project consists of three phases, with a total investment of RMB530 million (USD72.29 million), including RMB145 million (USD19.78 million) for the first phase, which will be able to produce 10 billion meters of tungsten wire annually. The second phase will build a new energy industrial park, and the third phase will expand tungsten wire and photovoltaic products production capacity subject to market conditions.
The first phase includes a 10,000 sq.m. plant, three intermediate frequency furnaces, two rolling mills, two sets of rotary swaging machine and more than 200 sets of wire drawing machine. It is expected to reach full capacity in the first half of 2025 and achieve an annual output value of around RMB300 million (USD40.92 million), helping create 300 jobs.
