Guizhou Jiashang more than doubles LMO production capacity

Guizhou Jiashang New Energy Material Co., Ltd. currently has four lithium manganese oxide (LMO) production lines in operation, which produced 5,540t of LMO since commencing production in June 2024, achieving production value of RMB175 million (USD23.98 million).
The company's 100-meter LMO cathode material tunnel kiln production line is so far the longest one of its kind in the world. The four operating production lines are fully automatic, with production capacity more than doubling to 50,000tpa from the original 20,000tpa.
Guizhou Jiashang is a subsidiary of Guangdong Jiashang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. With a total investment of RMB2.5 billion (343 million), the project has a planned land area of more than 400Mu (26.67 hectares) and will build production lines and associated facilities with annual production capacity of 100,000t of LMO, 40,000t of ternary cathode material, 10,000t of lithium cobalt oxides (LCO) cathode material, and 100,000t of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material. The first phase of the project will build eight production lines in total, with four lines already completed. The second phase has completed plant construction, and when fully operational, it is expected to realize annual production value of RMB10 billion (USD1.37 billion).
