Baotou National Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone achieved copper industrial production value of 13 billion yuan (1.79 billion US dollars) in the first ten months of 2024, up by 24.8% from the prior year period.
From January to October, the national high-tech zone produced 30,000 tonnes of copper cathode, up by 10.8% YoY, and 50,000 tonnes of copper wire and rod, up by 11% YoY.
