Hunan Rongli to build battery materials project in Qiandongnan

Hunan Rongli New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has entered into an agreement with the management committee of Qiandongnan High-tech Zone to build a new energy materials project for a total investment of RMB1.02 billion (USD141 million).
The proposed project, with a planned land area of around 100Mu (6.67 hectares), will build a 4GW energy storage system plant, a 10,000tpa sodium-ion battery cathode material plant, a 30,000tpa isostatic graphite anode material plant, and a 10,000tpa lithium battery material recycling plant.
