Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output up 5.6% in mid-Oct

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 23.31 million tonnes of finished steel products during the last eleven-day period of October, when the daily output was 2,119,000 tonnes, up by 5.6% from mid-October, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 13.64 million tonnes, a decrease of 1,820,000 tonnes or 11.8% from mid-October.
