A total of 984 exploration rights were transferred in China during the first three quarters of 2024, including 570 exploration rights for strategic minerals, surging by 218.4% from the year-ago period, as the country pushes forward the fresh round of mineral prospecting campaign, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
In the first six months of 2024, China invested nearly RMB5.65 billion (USD791 million) in exploration of solid mineral resources, up by 20.4% YoY, which rose for the fourth consecutive year and is expected to increase further.
