SD Lomon to acquire 51% stake in Sichuan Guotuo

SD Lomon announced that it plans to acquire 51% stake in Sichuan Guotuo Mining Investment Co., Ltd. held by its controlling shareholder Sichuan Advanced Materials Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd. for approximately RMB108 million (USD15.14 million), which would allow it to indirectly own the exploration right for a spodumene deposit in Jinchuan, Sichuan.
Initial exploration targeting a 3.65km2 area of the deposit suggested inferred and indicated resources of 1.32 million tonnes at 1.13% LiO2, containing 14,927t of lithium oxide, which showed that this could be a medium-sized spodumene deposit.
