CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output up 3.8% in mid-Oct

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.07 million tonnes of finished steel products during the second ten-day period of October, when the daily output was 2,007,000 tonnes, up by 3.8% from early October, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 15.46 million tonnes, an increase of 730,000 tonnes or 5% from ten days ago.
