A five-year exploration right for Maijitan lithium mine, a large-sized and high-grade lithium deposit located in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, has been put up for auction on Sichuan Provincial Public Resource Trading Platform until November 19.
Maijitan lithium deposit covers an area of more than 20 square kilometers, and previous mineral survey suggested that it holds lithium oxide resources of 885,500 tonnes at 1.5% LiO2 on average and is suitable for open-pit mining.
