China's copper cathode production rises 5.4% in Q1-Q3

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production was around 1.14 million tonnes in September 2024, up slightly by 0.4% YoY, while that of copper products declined by 2.6% YoY to 2.01 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In Q1-Q3, China produced about 10.04 million tonnes of copper cathode, up by 5.4% over the prior year period, and 16.33 million tonnes of copper products, down by 2.3% versus a year ago.
