China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.62 million tonnes in August 2024, up by 4.0% YoY, and the output from January to August increased by 5.4% over the prior year period to 52.05 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first eight months, China produced 28.91 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 5.1% from the year-ago period, including 3.73 million tonnes in August, up by 2.5% YoY.
