Hoshine Silicon reports higher silicon metal sales in H1

Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. achieved an operating revenue of RMB13.27 billion (USD1.87 billion) during the first half of 2024, up by 11.18% YoY, including RMB6.94 billion (USD978 million) from the sales of silicon metal, which increased from the prior year period, according to the company's semi-annual report.
In the second quarter, Hoshine Silicon produced 496,816.66 tonnes and sold 406,192.81 tonnes of silicon metal, with sales reaching RMB4.67 billion (USD658 million). By the end of June 2024, the company had an annual production capacity of 1.22 million tonnes of silicon metal.
