Baotou's Jan-Jul rare earth compounds production jumps 280% YoY

Baotou achieved a 15.1% increase in industrial added value above the designated size for the first seven months of 2024, recording a two-digit growth for over 47 consecutive months, according to the municipal statistics bureau.
During the January-July period, Baotou's production of monocrystalline silicon increased by 110%, polysilicon rose by 82.8%, single rare earth metals increased by 31.2%, rare earth compounds jumped by 280%, and iron ore finished products increased by 100%, all compared with the prior year period.
