Yunnan Germanium reports higher H1 ingot and oxide output and sales

In the first half of 2024, Yunnan Germanium and its subsidiaries produced 22.8t of material grade germanium products (ingot and dioxide), 2.35 metal tons of infrared grade germanium products (blanks and lenses), 218,300 pieces of photovoltaic grade germanium products (4-6 inches monocrystalline germanium slices), 9.84t of optical grade germanium products (germanium tetrachloride for optical fiber), 47,900 pieces of GaAs wafer (1-6 inches) and 33,900 pieces of InP wafer, according to the company's semi-annual report.
The H1 production and sales of material grade germanium products, photovoltaic grade germanium products, GaAs wafer and InP wafer increased from a year ago on stronger demand, while the production and sales of infrared grade germanium products and optical grade germanium products declined from the prior year period due to lower demand.
