1.Market Highlights
Magnesite: As most magnesite mines still remain in suspension, suppliers hold back from selling and lift the prices.
Fused magnesia: Prices of fused magnesia and H-Ca fused magnesia remains stable supported by firm production cost. Dragged by reduced market demand and decreased prices of high purity caustic calcined magnesia, large crystal fused magnesia prices move down.
Dead burned magnesia: In general, most producers keep the prices firm based on firm production cost. A small part of producers slightly lower the prices to promote sales.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Based on firm production cost, the prices of 85%min and 90%min keep stable. But the prices of 97%min moved down owing to reduced operating rates of large crytal fused magnesia producers.
Magnesium aluminate spinel: Supported by firm alumina prices, the prices of spinel remain unchanged.
