Lengshuijiang captures 41% of antimony market share in China

Lengshuijiang city in China's Hunan province has seen the number of antimony-related companies grow to 40 so far, including 30 industrial enterprises above designated size, two certified as national-level "little giant" companies and two provincial individual champion enterprise. In 2024, the antimony industrial cluster of Lengshuijiang officially becomes a characteristic industry cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises in Hunan.

Shizishan Antimony is among the many local antimony producing companies, while Zhenqiang Antimony and Sanjiu Antimony focus more on smelting and deep-processing of antimony products. Antimony Capital Environmental Protection is specialized in turning arsenic-alkali slag, a hazardous waste of antimony smelting, into arsenic elementary substance and arsenic trioxide. In addition, there are also many trading companies in Lengshuijiang, with antimony products exported to more than 50 countries and regions to date, and the city's total export value of antimony products reached nearly RMB1.01 billion (USD140.5 million) in 2013.

In the first half of 2024, the total output value of antimony industrial cluster in Lengshuijiang reached RMB4.2 billion (USD585 million) and is expected to touch RMB9 billion (USD1.25 billion) for the whole year.
