Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China moved up during the month mainly supported by the price increase of steel mills, and those of 300 series stainless steel bar were generally stable, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC, and 430 grade stainless CRC went down on weak demand. Many customers were still purchasing from hand to mouth for insufficient orders, and the market sales performance did not become better.
