On August 2, Panhua Group broke ground on the 2-million-per-annum steel sheet project in Wangjiang, the company's fourth production base for high-end metal materials along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, with the other three respectively located in Zhangjiagang, Chongqing and Hunan.
The project will produce high-performance and quality steel sheet products, which will be mainly used for automobile and home appliance industries. When operational, it will connect with Panhua Group's 10-million-tonnes steel industrial park in the Philippines and its other three production bases in China, for the vertical integration and innovative development of the group's steel industrial chain.
