China's H1 copper cathode output up by 7% YoY

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production was 1,128,000 tonnes in June 2024, up by 3.6% from the year-ago period, and that of copper products declined by 3.4% year on year to 1,988,000 tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first half of this year, China produced about 6.67 million tonnes of copper cathode and 10.62 million tonnes of copper products, up by 7.0% and 0.2% respectively from the prior year period.
